Made Nagi was born in Denpasar in 1981. While still a student he started contributing to the Bali Post, and he worked there as a full-time photographer after graduation.
Photojournalism is his passion. Nagi was chosen to participate in a Bali photo workshop held by John Stanmeyer and Gary Knight from VII Photo Agency in 2005, and considers this one of the highlights of his photography career. That same year he joined the European Press agency (EPA).
He also participated in a workshop for Young Asian Photographers at Angkor Photography Festival 2007 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Nagi has taken part in several photo exhibitions and a recipient of numerous photography awards.
Nagi is aware that the digital era has allowed photography to grow very fast in Indonesia, giving birth to a lot of emerging talent. He strives to make his work as creative and distinctive as possible.
