The Bali Nine are nine young Australian convicted of trying to smuggle more than eight kilograms of heroin into Australia from Bali. Six of nine Australian members of the Bali Nine are facing the death penalty, after the Indonesian Supreme Court upgraded their sentence in September 2006.
Ringleaders Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were sentenced to death and were executed on 29 April 2015.
