The Bali Nine are nine young Australian convicted of trying to smuggle more than eight kilograms of heroin into Australia from Bali. Six of nine Australian members of the Bali Nine are facing the death penalty, after the Indonesian Supreme Court upgraded their sentence in September 2006.
Ringleaders Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were sentenced to death and were executed on 29 April 2015.

Scott Anthony Rush, caught with 1,3 kilograms of heroin devided between two bags strapped to legs
Martin Eric Stephens, caught with 2,9 kilograms of heroin devided between five bags strapped to both legs and stomach
Michael William Czugaj, caught with 1,75 kilograms of heroin devided between three bags strapped to body.
Renae Lawrence, caught with 2,2 kilograms of heroin devided between three bags strapped to back and legs
